A rare "treat" to find a skunk active in the middle of the day. Naturally, it is no one's goal to get up close and personal with these animals, but anything for a photo! This skunk and I were separated by 25 feet and a barbwire fence as I watched it from the OTHER side of the horse pasture fence at Fermilab, Batavia IL.
